Murphy appears inside Azrael's controlled spaces, where prisoners, Scions, Chimeras, and altered bodies are part of the same machinery. His work gives the New Gods a production pipeline. Azrael provides the ideology and the original scientific ambition; Murphy helps make that ambition repeatable on bodies taken from the war.
