Current Status

Extinction Cycle Wiki does not currently place display advertisements or paid sponsored content.

If advertising is added in the future, ads should appear only on substantial content pages and should not be placed on policy pages, empty pages, search-result pages with no results, error pages, or temporary noindex pages.

Editorial Independence

Advertising, if added later, will not control article conclusions, source-map wording, correction decisions, or spoiler policy.

Placement and Labeling

Paid placements will be clearly distinguishable from navigation and editorial content. Ads will not imitate site controls, obscure article text, interrupt reading tasks, or be positioned where an ordinary click is likely to be mistaken for navigation.

Advertising density will remain secondary to the article. Mobile layouts will preserve adequate separation between ads, links, search controls, and other interactive elements.

Exclusions and Disclosures

The site will not accept advertising that promotes unauthorized copies of books, malware, deceptive downloads, illegal products, hate, explicit sexual content, or claims that conflict with the site's fan-reference purpose.

Affiliate links and sponsored material, if introduced, will be labeled near the relevant link or content. A commercial relationship will not be presented as an independent editorial recommendation.
