Accessibility Goal

The site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA for navigation, article text, static reference pages, search, and responsive desktop and mobile layouts. This is a target, not a claim of full conformance.

Evaluation

Core page types were evaluated on July 12, 2026 with keyboard-only interaction tests, semantic and landmark checks, responsive checks at 320 CSS pixels, homepage visual regression at 390, 768, and 1440 pixels, and axe checks on eleven representative routes. Those automated checks found no serious or critical axe violations and no horizontal overflow on the tested 320-pixel views.

Known Limitations

Very large character and lore indexes can require substantial keyboard navigation. Some dense relationship and chronology material may also be easier to use in the static article view than in the interactive view.

Manual testing with NVDA and VoiceOver has not yet been completed. The site therefore does not claim full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.

Third-party services and externally linked content are controlled by their providers and may not meet the same accessibility target. Reported barriers will be reviewed and prioritized based on impact and frequency.
