Overview
The Sixth Law Crisis is the name for the interconnected events of The Sixth Law: the D'Urville kidnapping, the Hawke's Bay captive rescue, the Project Aegis murders and traps, the Axiom cult and laboratory revelations, the Mount Murchison hybrid battle, the rescue of Marco and other prisoners, and the final attempt to disperse hybrid serum over Wellington.
The crisis is not one operation. It is a rolling national emergency created by Alexandra Soren and the Keepers of the Nation as they try to turn hidden resources, captive bodies, and Variant biology into a new political order.
Chronology
Dee and Marco survive the D'Urville ambush and are taken by Moehau and the Keepers.
Jack and the Renegades investigate missing girls in Hawke's Bay and uncover controlled Variants and trafficking.
Soren murders Edward Hobson, John Pelorus, and Elaine Pelorus to gain Project Aegis access.
The Renegades survive the Fonter Tower trap and begin tracking Dee through her coded signs.
Major combat zones
Hawke's Bay - Outcome: Captive girls rescued and Soren's network exposed.
Fonter Tower, Nelson - Outcome: Aegis trap sprung, Renegades survive, Dee's trail found.
Takaka River - Outcome: Yeti Alpha killed and the Renegades escape by boat.
Mount Murchison - Outcome: Ice Queen's hybrids defeat many Keepers, Yalonda is badly wounded, Dee reunites with Jack.
Strategic result
The Keepers' open campaign fails. Soren's leadership is destroyed, the serum aircraft are stopped, Marco and the captives survive, and Mahana's government retains control. The crisis also leaves unresolved biological and political problems: hidden Keepers, Axiom research materials, Cooper Island records, and Anna Sutton's mountain hybrids.
